Reclaimed Railway Sleepers

Ideal for retaining walls/steps and general garden use. These have been treated with creosote and other preservatives making them very robust and long-lasting.

EU law forbids the use of reclaimed railway sleepers treated with creosote inside buildings (i.e. fireplace mantel or lintel), in toys, in playgrounds, picnic areas or areas where there maybe risk of frequent skin contact.

In a nutshell, don’t use creosoted sleepers around children, food, or inside. Don’t sit on them, eat off them, or put them indoors! HANDLE with GLOVES
